• there are more tabs to choose from

I think we would use wayback machine to look back on our old websites and reflect on them so we can see what was more successful and what was popular.

4th Quarter Reflection

Our project was called Vinels. Vinels are goggles that you wear from which you can see vines, and when not watching vines they are prescription glasses. The project took the whole quarter. Some challenges we faced were getting our logos and other things like that onto the website. I learned how to work in Dreamweaver and Sketchup better. We changed the goggles midway into glasses. I think our work was good and well put together. During class I always completed what was asked of me.
I just talked to friends until I had more to work on. I enjoy working with Adobe Software in my free time, which in turn helps me work better with it and in school. I liked being able to use the Adobe Software and working in a group.

I think the point of this project was for us to learn and practice how to use Google Sketchup. Sketchup is an easy and helpful program that i enjoy using. The house i used was based off of a simple bungalow cottage. I really like the house itself, and im glad I was able to build it and put my own taste on it, im proud of how it turned out. I learned how to use Sketchup and how useful it is in the real world. One thing i would do different is resize the sides of the roof so they're the same. I think the fact that we can make custom textures and 3D objects is really cool. Sketchup is really fun and versatile and i have fun using it. 

Personality Types Blog

I think this is a pretty accurate description of me. I do a lot of the same things that this describes. I do a lot of thinking, so this doesn't really tell me anything I don't already know about myself, but its interesting how accurate these can be about people. this shows me that I don't have to have a big role on a team, I can be in the background planning things and helping people when they need it. it can cause problems when the right personality doesn't fit the role, because not everybody will be comfortable with a certain job. I'm quiet and keep things bottled up, so when I don't talk about things people think its in spite of their interest. I've learned that I don't have to have a big role when working with a team, because I'm more comfortable going unnoticed.

Elevator Pitch

My name is Blake Dane. I am a student at Olathe NorthWest, in the e-Communication program. My strong-suits include writing, coming up with ideas, working hard and learning new material. I can be a good leader if I need to be, I can work for a long time and focus on my responsibility. I can work well with other people, and cooperate to get the job done. I am smart, a good problem solver, an cool headed in jeopardizing situations.

I used contrast to direct people eyes to the title. I used red to contrast the yellow. The red also defines the outline of the characters. The red stands out and catches the attention of on goers.I used alignment to fill the page and make it look interesting. I arranged the title so it would stand out. I put the information in its own column so it would be orderly. I repeated the red color to add to the contrast. I also repeated the white so that it would look nice next to the red. I used proximity to have my letters close together and help fill the page. I only left blank space where it was necessary.
